Jan 1 Read Psalm 1-3; Proverbs 1

Show your love by only saying positive things to your family and friends today.
Pray: Give thanks for a new year. Thank Him for new opportunities.

Jan 2 Read Psalm 4-6; Proverbs 2
Tell the person that you are closest to that you love them and do something that expresses your love.
Pray: Tell God “thank you” for the freedoms we enjoy. Pray for our political leaders to have wisdom.

Jan 3 Read Psalms 7-9; Proverbs 3
Call someone you love and pray for them over the phone.
Pray: Ask God to help you this week to love others. Ask Him to enter an area of your life you struggle in.

Jan 4 Read Psalm 10-12; Proverbs 4
Give a donation of $5 to the Salvation Army or a ministry you like.
Pray: For those that have a more difficult life or lifestyle than yourself.

Verse of the week: Hebrews 13:15 Through Him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name.

Jan 5 Read Psalm 13-15; Proverbs 5
Go to church 15 mins early and pray
Pray: Give thanks for God’s gift of salvation. (Psalm 13:5) Pray for others to experience His salvation.

Jan 6 Read Psalm 16-18; Proverbs 6
Watch the sunrise or sunset.
Pray: Tell God what you think about his handiwork.

Jan 7 Read Psalm 19-21; Proverbs 7
Make a list of 3 things that you have learned about God from your reading this month.
Pray: Give thanks for things he has done in your past.

Jan 8 Read Psalm 22-24; Proverbs 8
God is there right beside you.
Pray: Tell Him how that makes you feel.

Jan 9 Read Psalm 25-27; Proverbs 9
Look up into the night sky. God spoke that into existence, but He made you.
Pray: Tell Him how grateful you are to Him.

Jan 10 Read Psalm 28-30; Proverbs 10
Jesus saved you by giving up his life. Tell him what that means to you.
Pray: List and give thanks for the changes made in your life since your salvation. Refresh your commitment to him.

Jan 11 Read Psalm 31-33; Proverbs 11
You are the temple of the Holy Spirit. Ask Him for guidance today.
Pray: Are there areas in your temple that do not fully belong to Him? Ask Him for help in an area you never have before.

Verse of the week: Psalm 46:10 (NCV) God says, “Be still and know that I am God. I will be praised in all the nations; I will be praised throughout the earth.”



Jan 12 Read Psalm 34-36; Proverbs 12
God to church early and sit in your car and mentally prepare yourself to meet with God.
Pray: For others to experience God during the service.


Jan 13 Read Psalm 37-39; Proverbs 13
Pray: Ask about your relationship with Jesus. Ask God to speak to you.
Sit quietly after praying and listen for the Holy Spirit.

Jan 14 Read Psalm 40-42; Proverbs 14
After reading the scripture today sit quietly and think about what you have just read.
Pray: Ask God to forgive you for any traits listed in Proverbs 14, also ask Him to help you exhibit the positive traits listed.

Jan 15 Read Psalm 43-45; Proverbs 15
Take a walk and have a conversation with God in your head.
Prayer: Ask Him to help you focus on him. Ask him to reveal himself and refresh your spirit.

Jan 16 Read Psalm 46-48; Proverbs 16
After each chapter you read ask yourself, “What does this mean to me?”
Pray: that God would reveal things about Him and You.

Jan 17 Read Psalm 49-51 Proverbs 17
Prayer: After the reading from Proverbs ask yourself, “How can I do this in my life?”

Jan 18 Read Psalm 52-54; Proverbs 18
Get up a half hour early or go to bed a half hour late and spend that time sitting with the Lord.
Prayer: Thank Him for the “trouble” he has kept you from.



Verse of the week: Mark 11:25 Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions.

Jan 19 Read Psalm 55-57; Proverbs 19
Sit on the front row at church today and take notes.

Jan 20 Read Psalm 58-60; Proverbs 20
Make a list of people you need to forgive. (Forgive them)

Jan 21 Read Psalm 61-63; Proverbs 21
After spending time in meditation on the scriptures you have just read, ask God to remind you of people you have wronged and ask them to forgive you.

Jan 22 Read Psalm 64-66; Proverbs 22
Think about the worst time of your life and thank God that He forgave you for all the rotten things you did.

Jan 23 Read Psalm 67-69; Proverbs 23
God has and will forgive you of every sin. Confess you sins to Him and be healed.

Jan 24 Read Psalm 70-72; Proverbs 24
Pray for anyone who has been mean to you. Pray that God blesses them.

Jan 25 Read Psalm 73-75; Proverbs 25
God has forgiven you of all your sins. Thank Him for that!

Verse of the week: 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18 Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Jan 26 Read Psalm 76-78; Proverbs 26
Greet everyone at church today.
Pray: Looking at Psalm 78:4, Praise the Lord for His strength & wondrous works!

Jan 27 Read Psalm 79-81; Proverbs 27
Make a list of things for which you are thankful.
Pray: Praise and thank him for the list.

Jan 28 Read Psalm 82-84; Proverbs 28
Thank everyone who does something for you today.
Pray: Thank God for those people today.

Jan 29 Read Psalm 85-87; Proverbs 29
Pray: Sing a song to the Lord today.

Jan 30 Read Psalm 88-90; Proverbs 30
Pray an extra 15 minutes today.

Jan 31 Read Psalm 91-93; Proverbs 31
Pray for everyone that the Lord brings to you mind throughout the day.
